SmartWatches Trackers

The new generation of GPS watches looks good enough to pass for a normal daytime watch. These devices have become smaller over the years but still look bulky on most wrists.

They come in flashy colors and pick up phone notifications via Bluetooth, but only while in active running mode. If you use an iPhone, you’ll be getting notifications all the time. Lastly, GPS watches are more expensive than fitness trackers.

Do SmartWatches Have Trackers?

1. Fitbit

If you want to keep track of your workouts, Fitbit smartwatches are a good choice. They are capable of displaying real-time stats about your exercise sessions.

They work with 80 percent of gym equipment, such as bikes and running machines, and have workout-tracking apps. But you will need a separate tracker app to keep track of steps and other metrics. Apple Watches can do the same thing.

The Fitbit Charge HR is a fitness tracker that includes a built-in GPS and improved heart-rate tracking for intense exercise. Although this device does not have the fastest connection speed, it is an affordable introduction to fitness tracking.

You can also get a free six-month subscription to Fitbit Premium, which includes access to thousands of workouts and a host of other features. The Luxe is sleek and aesthetically pleasing.

2. Apple Watch

While smartwatches can tell the time and make phone calls, they also have specialized trackers. Advanced models often include an electrodermal activity sensor (EKG), blood oxygen sensors, and a heart rate monitor.

These extra sensors help monitor your heart rate, blood pressure, and even stress levels. Many of these fitness trackers can sync with a phone app to measure these variables. Others are not as sophisticated and do not have the same functions as smartwatches.

The most notable exception to this rule is the Apple Watch, which is the most accurate tracker. The Apple Watch also bakes social competition into its watchOS 3 update. Its smaller size and attractive design encourage people to purchase it.

However, it’s worth noting that fitness trackers are not waterproof and must be recharged daily. These features may also put them out of reach of those who are not used to a smartphone.

3. Garmin

You might have heard of the Garmin Vivoactive, a sports watch that is fashioned to look like a piece of jewellery. It has a colourful display and patterned touch screen, and connects to your phone’s GPS to provide you with vital health data.

It offers heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation monitoring, stress management, and menstrual cycle tracking. It also features a built-in GPS, as well as a heart rate monitor and music player.

Another option is the Garmin Forerunner 235. This sports watch has GPS, SPO2 and GLONASS technology, and a barometric altimeter.

It also has a heart rate monitor and a pulse oximeter, and it has all the features of the Forerunner watches, including advanced sleep tracking, cycle tracking, and pregnancy modes. You can choose the most appropriate Garmin smartwatch for your needs based on your level of activity and your budget.

4. Samsung

While not every Samsung smartwatch has trackers, the Gear S3 has a lot of the same features as its predecessors. It features an OLED display, easy-to-use controls, and smooth performance. Samsung’s health tracking feature is particularly helpful, but it only works with a Samsung phone.

It is also available only in the US, and the battery life isn’t as long as those of other smartwatches. It also has a mechanical rotating bezel, which can be a hindrance if you need to quickly access information on a daily basis.

The Galaxy Gear S2 is another example of a mobile-ready watch. It allows you to receive calls, text messages, and alerts right on your wrist. The phone calls feature is not always available, however. You’ll need to sync your phone with your smartwatch to receive texts.

The same is true for the Gear S2, which allows you to receive and make calls. Depending on your watch model, your Samsung smartwatch may be able to receive calls directly from your phone.
